Strategy and tactics
Prove your abilities at the game board from time-to-time, in this "last King standing" tactical game! But this time a good sense for tactics and a lucky hand won't be enough: it is better to plan a bit ahead, think about what your next move will be, if you want to set a good trap for your opponent or you want to go for a winning blow. The goal is to gain higher and higher noble titles and to climb the ranking ladder in a point system, similar to ELO ranking, used in Chess championships and in the toplists in some of our previous games. Risk and take more points from higher ranked players or go for less but a more certain result.
Unexpected surprises
From shadow to shadow the Headhunter lurks, only becoming visible to foes on rare occasions when it brings some difficulties to solve... He is often the unit who can solve an undecided situation or even turn a lost situation into victory. But when the night falls, it is not only the Headhunter who can turn up unexpectedly, because all the maps will be covered by the darkness of the night from sunset to sunrise. And with the exception of the Sorcerer, all the other units will not see beyond their nose. So you should protect your own Sorcerer and you know what has to be done if you think your opponent sees to much of the map...
Gameplay
During battles, the players take turns in moving their units on the map, just like in boardgames.
To make it more predictable the time you have to join the game to make your turn, every player can pick a preferred speed, a so called turn duration. Players will have that much of time to make moves, but if it expires the opponent will take his or her turn again. Naturally, you don't have to remember the time you have started each of your current games and the turn durations you have agreed on with your opponents. On the list of active battles, your and your opponents' available time is displayed separately for you to be aware of your duties.
